Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop engineers and technicians in the Dry Etch Module team

  • Support segment team activities such as IMT, Production, or TMI leadership
  • Act as a cultural role model, setting standards for performance and engagement.

Full Job Description
An Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) Dry Etch Module Team Leader works a shift one schedule and reports directly to a department manager. The MTL will be responsible for but not limited to: The performance, development, and employee relations of engineers and technicians. Will also partner with other Group Leaders and MTLs to operate as one team to ensure consistency in results across all of their functional areas. Will be responsible for the roadmap to meet goals against area/shift metrics in safety, cost, quality, availability, training, and employee relations. The candidate will be responsible for supporting segment team activities including IMT leadership, Production leadership or TMI leadership for the factory. Candidate will also be a role model for the culture and set the standard for expectations to living the culture. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. Skills to lead technical taskforces and resolve complex technical issues. Tolerance of ambiguity, and commitment to task. Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in a related science or engineering field with 4+ years of process engineering experience in wafer fabrication OR • Master's degree in a related science or engineering field with 2+ years of process engineering experience in wafer fabrication OR • Ph.D. in a related science or engineering field. • 1+ year of experience in handling semiconductor process flow, equipment troubleshooting and Model Based Problem Solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Interacting with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing/engineering technicians on toolsets. • Semiconductor Processing engineering and be able to provide technical direction on quality issues. • Data analysis skills. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
