  • Collaborate with OT, nursing staff, and medical team to set discharge goals
  • Educate residents and families on safety practices and adaptive equipment
  • Contribute to a resident-centered, supportive team environment

The Opportunity:

  • Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Location: Salinas, CA (Beautiful Monterey County)
  • Compensation:$50.00-55.00 per hour and up (DOE)
  • Incentives: Quarterly Performance-Based Bonuses

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Implementation: Work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality therapeutic services and restorative interventions.
  • Functional Training: Deliver skilled treatments focusing on ADLs, functional mobility, and compensatory strategies to improve resident independence.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with California state and federal guidelines.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the OT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding resident status and discharge goals.
  • Resident Advocacy: Educate residents and their families on home programs, safety practices, and the use of adaptive equipment.
  • Environment: Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented therapy department focused on resident-centered results.
