Full Job Description
Occupational Therapist Sudbury Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist to service students in grades K-5 in Sudbury. Position is district-wide, so work in other locations may be required. Must be very knowledgeable about the special education process and school-based therapy. Successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school-based team to provide direct, individual and group therapy, assessments, and consultation. Candidates must have: • experience with a wide range of disabilities • experience in a public school setting • knowledge of sensory integration • special education assessment experience • ability to work with a team • experience developing IEP goals, objectives and progress reports • license as an occupational therapist Salary based on scale in OT/PT Employment Manual. Step 1 - $66,000 to Step 20 - $116,856, plus COLA Responsibilities: • Providing occupational therapy services in the preschool, elementary, middle school, and the Partner program (for students with communication disabilities/autism spectrum disorders) • Collaborating with other team members in problem-solving and planning • Engaging with parents as partners Supervised by: Director of Student Services and Principals
