As an Occupational Therapist at The Orchards at Niles, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence and achieve their highest level of functioning. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OT to join our dynamic rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify resident strengths, weaknesses, and limitations
- Utilize various therapy techniques and strategies to improve resident mobility, strength, and coordination
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Participate in resident care conferences and provide progress reports to family members and caregivers
Requirements:- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with older adults and individuals with dementia
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
