Description:
The position involves treating a varying number of patients per day, typically between 6 to 10.
Common diagnoses include pediatrics to geriatrics, orthopedic, neurological, fall risk, and general weakness.
The role includes a mix of inpatient care, outpatient care, and home care responsibilities.
Coverage is expected in at least two areas, such as inpatient/home care or outpatient/orthopedic settings.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) utilized include specific platforms for inpatient, outpatient, and home health care charting.
The position utilizes Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for treatment if available.
Shift preferences include options for 4-10 hour shifts or 5 days per week of 8-hour shifts.
No weekend or holiday work is required.
Dress code includes black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual attire.
Candidates specializing in upper extremity therapy may be considered even without experience in other areas.
If a candidate is a lymphedema specialist, they will still be expected to provide a range of Occupational Therapy treatments.
