Occupational Therapist • Full-Time Position • Wakefield Location

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment and home programs
  • Provide specialized hand and upper extremity therapy
  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge summaries
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns with physicians and therapy leadership
  • Manage patient scheduling, charging, and appropriate delegation to support staff
  • Participate in continuing education and staff development

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy accredited by American Occupational Therapists Association or a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • 2• 3 years of clinical experience working with hand therapy patients preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with physicians, coworkers, management, patients, and other professional partners
  • Ability to manage a patient volume of 11-12 patients per 8-hour day
