Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide skilled, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
  • Help residents improve daily living skills, safety, mobility, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications
Required
  • Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Therapy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
