Occupational Therapist (OT)As an
Occupational Therapist (OT) at ComForCare, you will play an essential role in our organization by helping clients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and safely participate in meaningful daily activities. Your clinical expertise directly enhances their quality of life and supports their ability to remain at home.
What We Are Looking For:- A passion for helping clients live their best and most independent lives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration and good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Access to reliable transportation
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
- Eligibility to legally work in Canada
- Valid driver's license is an asset
- Covid vaccination proof
- Current TB screening and Criminal Record Check
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
What You Will Be Doing:- Conduct functional assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, cognition, and daily living skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support independence and safety
- Provide therapy focused on ADLs, IADLs, mobility, fall prevention, and adaptive strategies
- Recommend and train clients on assistive devices and home modifications
- Educate clients and families on techniques to improve daily functioning
- Collaborate with caregivers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support clients in achieving meaningful goals and improved quality of life
Salary Range:$130-$150 per hour (depending on experience)
Compensation: $130.00 - $150.00 per hour
