Qualifications

• Experience in an inpatient rehab setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required.
• Master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy preferred.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility for licensure required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services to individuals aged 12 and above.
• Develop and administer comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.
• Supervise and provide clinical direction to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Instruct therapy support staff, students, and caregivers in therapy methodologies.
• Rotate through various clinical areas to gain diverse experience.
