Full Job Description
Position Overview:
  • This is a PRN, part-time or full-time hospital based Occupational Therapist opportunity located in growing Dalhart, TX. Dalhart is 1-hour and 15 minutes northwest of Amarillo.

  • The setting is inpatient and outpatient, with a mix of all populations; including pediatrics.
  • Discover Dalhart, TX. - a community with Golf courses, theaters, specialty museums and wineries/vineyards.
  • PAY RANGE: $ 40 to $50 per hour, depending on experience.
  • $1000 per month housing stipend for 6 months while employed
  • Up to $ 12,000 sign-on bonus

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients
  • Complete documentation
  • Plan, market and develop new programs
  • Communicate with patients, patients• families and physicians and staff
  • Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
  • Assist in the general operation of the department
  • Supervise COTA's in accordance to state regulations as necessary


Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
  • Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program
  • Possess or be eligible for state licensure
