At the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Occupational Therapist screens, evaluates, re-evaluates and treats patients referred by a licensed provider. Coordinates and communicates treatment activities with health care team members and the patient. Works closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Occupational Therapist:Evaluates the patient's need for occupational therapy and develops/carries out appropriate treatment plan.Instructs family members, COTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.Communicates with the physician and other health care providers on a regular basis regarding the patient's progress.Provides clinical oversight of COTAs in the home.This job description is not meant to be exhaustive and may be modified as needed. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license.
- Graduate of an accredited school in Occupational Therapy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - One year of experience as an OT in a home health care setting is preferred
Required Licensure/Certifications- Unencumbered OT license in VT and NH or compact. - Driver's license, minimum requirements on car insurance, and a clean driving record

- Pay Range: $81,640.00/Yr. - $126,547.20/Yr. (Based on 40 hours per week, otherwise pro rata)
