Setting: Outpatient Hand Surgery Practice
About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused
Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in upper extremity rehabilitation to join our high-volume
outpatient hand surgery practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with hand surgeons to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with post-surgical and non-surgical upper extremity conditions.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferredResponsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions in an outpatient setting
- Provide post-operative and conservative care in collaboration with hand surgeons
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Fabricate, modify, and fit custom orthoses
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, precautions, and functional recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Flexibility to travel between clinics
Qualifications- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Colorado
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred (or willingness to pursue certification)
- Minimum 2-3 years of outpatient hand therapy experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in upper extremity and hand rehabilitation
- Strong splinting skills
- Ability to work in team dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
