Full Job Description
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Assistantto join the team at Fargo Elim Health Care Center temporarily.

Position Type: Full-Time PRN - 35 - 40 Hours a week from November 2026 - January 2027

Wage Range: $40 / hour

Location: 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance Responsibilities:
  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
  • Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate's degree.
  • Must possess a current ND Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
