Position Types: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule covering Days, Evenings and Nights.
Available Shifts:Days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Evenings 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Nights 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Wage Range:
Registered Nurse $37.70 to $43.75 / hour depending on experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse$30.86 to $35.82 / hour depending on experience.
Bonus:
Full-Time$7,500 (Registered Nurse)
$5,000 (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Part-Time$5,000 (Registered Nurse)
$2,500 (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location: 625 W 31st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408
Nurse (RN or LPN) Responsibilities: - Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
- Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
- Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
- Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
Nurse (RN or LPN) Qualifications:- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required.
- CPR certified preferred or willing to get
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
