Full Job Description
Position Overview:
  • PRN, part-time, or full-time Occupational Therapist position located in WaKeeney, Kansas
  • Both inpatient and outpatient within a community based hospital setting with home health
  • Population mix is diverse from school kids to adult geriatrics
  • Pay rate: $42-$52/hour, depending on experience

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients
  • Complete documentation
  • Plan, market and develop new programs
  • Communicate with patients, patients• families and physicians and staff
  • Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
  • Assist in the general operation of the department
  • Supervise COTA's in accordance to state regulations as necessary

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
  • Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program
  • Possess or be eligible for state licensure
