Job Summary and Responsibilities

Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a physician to our busy Occupational Medicine Department at our Midtown Clinic in Sacramento, CA.

Among the services provided at MMG Occupational Medicine are the treatment of work-related injuries such as lacerations, multiple body strains, fractures, acute eye injuries and foreign bodies, etc. We also provide pre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat physical examinations, physician certified MRO services for employment drug testing, onsite audiometry and pulmonary function testing, and mask-fit testing. We provide fit for duty examinations as well as employer requested recommendations on ergonomics, chemical exposures etc., among additional services.

MMG Occupational Medicine provides evidence-based medical treatment in a timely and effective manner while remaining cost effective with work related injuries for both prompt return to work and closure of cases. We are one of the most reputable Occupational Medicine clinics in the Northern California area and are recognized as a "Preferred Provider" by the majority of the worker compensation insurance carriers as a result of the quality care and service we consistently provide.
