  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of stay-at-work and early and safe return-to-work programs.
  • Partner with Safety, HR, and Operations leaders to support injury prevention initiatives and reduce lost-time injuries.
  • Ensure transitional work and accommodation programs are practical, sustainable, and aligned with operational requirements and employee capabilities.
  • Leverage claims and injury data to identify trends and recommend proactive prevention strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Operational Leaders, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Payroll, and Safety teams to ensure a coordinated approach to injury management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and coaching to operational leaders on workers' compensation processes, accommodation requirements, challenges and return-to-work best practices.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Workers' Compensation Boards and other external stakeholders.

Reporting & Continuous improvement

  • Monitor program performance and vendor effectiveness through data-driven analysis and reporting.
  • Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement and implement targeted action plans.
  • Lead initiatives that improve employee outcomes, reduce organizational risk, enhance compliance, and strengthen overall program performance.
