Overview

Our affiliate, Southern New England Healthcare for Women, is seeking a skilled and collaborative OB/GYN Physician to join the Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Providence, Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, team-based model that includes physicians and midwives, providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Highlights:
  • Practice is comprised of 6 OB/GYN Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners
  • 4-day work week, including a mix of office, surgery, and laborist responsibilities
  • Shared call schedule with another practice
  • Approximately 1 (24-hour) call shift per month
  • Midwives take first call, with physicians serving as supervising backup
  • Opportunity to take additional call shifts for increased compensation
  • All deliveries are performed at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, a nationally recognized leader in women's care
  • Supervise and collaborate with a team of 13 midwives in a hospital-based program
