  • Assist in the installation and configuration of facility networks as SCIF becomes operational.
  • Create and maintain essential network documentation, including maps and service records.
  • Monitor and test network performance, producing reports for status reviews.
  • Ensure all configurations comply with DoD security requirements and DISA STIG standards.

Full Job Description
Operations and Sustainment (O&S) Network Engineer to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. This early hire supports the classified development and test environment network from initial standup, then transitions to facility network installation and ongoing O&S support as the program matures.

Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

  • Support the classified development and test environment network, providing O&S-focused network engineering in coordination with the Network Architect.
  • Plan, deploy, integrate, and test network configurations in support of the classified development environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues; provide real-time status updates to the Network Architect and program leadership.
  • As th SCIF facility becomes available, support facility network installation and configuration per the Network Architect's design.
  • Create and maintain network documentation: configuration records, network maps, process documentation, and service records.
  • Monitor and test network performance; provide network performance statistics and reports for program status reviews.
  • Ensure all network configurations comply with DoW security requirements and DISA STIG standards.

  • Hands-on experience configuring Cisco and/or Juniper routers and switches; experience with firewalls and encryption devices.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

  • Current U.S. Government TopSECRET clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command programs.
  • Experience with classified SCIF network installation and facility network buildout.
  • Familiarity with TACLANE encryption devices and multi-enclave network architectures.
  • CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification.


PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $112,800-$150,000
