Full Job Description
Role Summary

Nuuly is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst that will join our Product & Technology organization supporting the development and delivery of our custom warehouse management, order management, and logistics solutions. The BSA will partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand functional needs and priorities, assist in distilling them into technical and design requirements, and facilitate delivery within an agile process. This is a multi-disciplinary role spanning business systems analysis, project management, and solution design and delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead Scrum delivery teams and manage processes to define technical solutions, refine user stories, plan software deliveries, manage daily standups, and lead retrospective activities
  • Collaborate with product management to understand and evaluate business requirements and project priorities in support of maintaining a well-groomed backlog
  • Evaluate incoming requests critically, analyzing impact, urgency, and stakeholder motivation before committing engineering capacity
  • Challenges assumptions and norms in order to drive innovation and continuously improve process
  • Partner with engineering to break down functional user stories into technical tasks
  • Act as a liaison between product management, UX, engineering, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and sprint delivery commitments are met
  • Assess potential risk against delivery effort when evaluating business requirements and negotiating priorities with partners
  • Assist in the validation and user acceptance testing of technical deliverables


Role Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical product management or business systems analyst roles, preferably in an ecommerce, warehouse management, or order management environment
  • Well-rounded experience delivering integrated software solutions within a complex system architecture
  • Experience turning business objectives into functional requirements and feature specifications
  • Experience estimating and planning large-scale initiatives with complex dependencies spanning multiple teams
  • Knowledge of project management processes within agile settings and experience working in a Scrum environment

Job Skills
  • Ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that translate requirements into executable work for an engineering delivery team
  • Expert knowledge of Jira, Monday.com, Confluence, or related software in support of technical program delivery
  • Experience leading technical delivery teams in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Knowledge of modern software components including web services, databases, and client applications
  • Ability to assess risk and dependencies across complex software solutions
  • Ability to query databases using SQL, read and understand JSON, and interact with APIs using tools such as Postman
  • Ability to read and evaluate API specifications (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger) to identify integration requirements, breaking changes, or downstream impacts to services and client applications
  • Practical fluency with AI and Large Language Models, including the ability to apply LLMs to day-to-day work such as requirements drafting and documentation; experience with agentic AI tools or LLM integrations connected to systems such as Jira, Confluence, or operational data sources is a plus

Education

Degree in computer science, business information systems, or equivalent experience.
