Nursing Supervisor – LPN Mattapan Health & Rehabilitation Center

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nursing Supervisor to join our 85-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Mattapan, Massachusetts.

This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through clinical leadership, nursing staff supervision, resident advocacy, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary care team. Our community provides both Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care, supporting residents throughout their healthcare journey through comprehensive nursing services, rehabilitation therapies, social services, and personalized care designed to promote independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing care provided throughout the facility during your assigned shift
  • Supervise nursing personnel on each unit
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
  • Help ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of residents
  • Respond promptly to resident requests, needs, and concerns
  • Promote consistent, high-quality nursing practices
  • Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Support a positive environment centered on resident dignity, respect, and quality of life
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services

From Up to Qualifications

  • Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR
  • Experience with dementia population desirable

  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
