100% FTE, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional evenings and weekends. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at 8501 Excelsior Drive in Madison, WI and the Med Flight base located in Portage, WI.

We are seeking an Emergency Services Nursing Supervisor to:
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with a wide range of hospital staff, including leadership team, care team leaders, medical staff, social work, and support staff, to ensure high-quality patient and family care.
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department, overseeing patient care, staff, and daily unit operations.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing support for professional development, performance evaluations, and team management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered but the candidate must be enrolled in a BSN program with a program completion date within 24 months of hire. Required
  • Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN). Preferred

Work Experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant clinical, ED, transport, or Charge RN experience. Required
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience. Required
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in clinical practice. Preferred
  • Management, Supervisory, or charge RN experience with demonstrated success. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse license in state of Wisconsin. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months Required
  • Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) within 6 months Required
  • Certified Flight RN (CFRN) or Certified Transport RN (CTRN) within 18 months Required
