Position Details:
Full Time (40 hrs/wk) Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the CDI RN Manager, assists with input, programming, and training for Electronic Health Record (EHR) with the goal of maximizing system capability and efficiency. Nursing Informatics is the specialty that integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge into nursing/clinical practice. Under general supervision, this role leads and facilitates the integration of data, information, and knowledge to support patients, nurses, and other providers in their decision making in all roles and settings. Performs essential functions of a Systems Analyst. Guides and assists staff and physician EHR education program(s). Works closely with clinical staff and physicians to solve immediate and long-term problems and enhance system and staff functions.

Requirements

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Experience:

Two or more years as an RN. One years' experience in Informatics preferred.

Skills:

Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with co-workers and patients. Ability to work with the sick and injured. Ability to accept constructive criticism.
