Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)
Fairlane Nursing and Rehab | Reading, PA
Full-Time | Salary: $130,000-$150,000 Annually

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities. The NHA will ensure the highest degree of resident care and services are delivered and maintained while ensuring all personnel are treated fairly and consistently with company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all business-related activities for the skilled nursing facility
  • Ensure the facility maintains high-quality standards through implementation and monitoring of quality systems and processes
  • Oversee and prepare for annual state surveys
  • Manage financial operations and facility budgets
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement appropriate healthcare programs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Establish, implement, and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
  • Lead and support facility staff while promoting a positive, professional work environment
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications
  • Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
  • Previous NHA experience in a hospital or long-term care facility required
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and state survey requirements
