Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to provide strategic leadership for one of our skilled nursing communities. This individual will be responsible for the overall operation of the campus, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a passion for long-term care, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to foster a positive culture for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Care & Quality
  • Provide leadership that promotes exceptional, resident-centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Foster a culture focused on quality outcomes, resident satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance the overall resident experience.


Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor department leaders while promoting accountability and professional growth.
  • Build a positive workplace culture centered on teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
  • Encourage continuous learning and ensure staff receive the education and support needed to succeed.
  • Promote an environment where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to share ideas.


Operations & Financial Management
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of the community while ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, financial performance, and operational goals.
  • Monitor staffing, labor management, and productivity to support organizational success.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to achieve strategic initiatives and performance objectives.


Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain ongoing survey readiness and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection prevention standards, life safety requirements, and other regulatory expectations.
  • Lead the facility through state and federal surveys while supporting timely corrective action planning when necessary.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • Current Minnesota Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.


Preferred
  • Two or more years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
  • Experience leading Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living operations.
  • Demonstrated success in quality improvement, financial management, and team development.
