Nursing Home AdministratorGolden Sonora Care Center | Sonora, CAGolden Sonora Care Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 210-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility.
This is an opportunity for a proven long-term care leader who can build a strong team, maintain a culture of accountability, and drive excellence in resident care and facility performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop department heads while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care and positive outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensure ongoing survey readiness.
- Oversee staffing, labor, budgeting, and other key operational priorities.
- Monitor facility performance and implement strategies to address opportunities for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, and community partners.
- Promote a workplace culture focused on teamwork, employee engagement, safety, and service.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, life-safety, and risk-management programs.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and facility goals.
Qualifications- Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, as required by applicable regulations.
- 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatric care, or a related healthcare setting.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems and applications.
- Passion for providing exceptional care and service to older adults.
