Qualifications

• 5-7 years of veterinary experience required, particularly in clinical settings.
• Emergency veterinary experience is preferred.
• Proficient in drug calculations and unit conversions.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Flexibility in work hours, including additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the Clinical Manager as required.
• Function as a scheduled member of the Clinical Services team.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet patient needs.
• Prioritize and organize workflows for effective shift management.
• Directly manage team members during shifts including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Serve as first responder to client concerns and drug escalations.
• Train and mentor new team members, providing performance feedback.
