Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our full time night Nurse Shift Manager, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident. You're an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. It's also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit.
In this role you will:
- Supervise nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assign patients to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the patient's condition and the employee's skill level.
- Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
- Anticipate staffing needs and move proactively to respond to them.
- Oversee stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure that the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.
Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is a 30 bed unit with all private rooms. The unit is designed to promote a quiet calm atmosphere and a healing environment. The unit features include ceiling lifts pneumatic tube system and all new equipment. RNs Nursing Assistants Unit Assistants and Monitor Techs care for a cardiac population with arrhythmias pre/post cardiac intervention (with sheath removals) and pre/ post op Cardiac Surgical patients.

Job Requirements
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current Bachelors in nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field preferred
