About the Position: This is a time limited position. (APRN) medical care primarily in a county health department in a collaborative/consultative relationship with a physician who has an unrestricted license in Mississippi. Job duties include accountable for assessment, diagnosis, evaluation and determination of patient treatment plan and processes; performs medical procedures and the delivery of patient care that are allowed within the governance that manages the work of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses; completes discharge planning considering patient environment and skills; accountable for all required documentation in accordance with medical policies, practices, and protocols. Travel to other clinics is required.
What you'll need to be Successful: Candidate will need to have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and good rapport with patients and the public.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and nationally board certified.
