Full Job Description
Providence is seeking a full-time Psychiatric nurse practitioner to join an established team and clinic in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC) provides short-term, intensive behavioral health crisis care for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric distress. The program operates under a 23-hour observation model and serves as an alternative to emergency department boarding and inpatient hospitalization. Because of the acuity and rapid clinical decision-making required, nurse practitioners are a core, on-site presence in the CSC.

The CSC provides immediate psychiatric access, reduces emergency department boarding, and prevents unnecessary inpatient admissions. Continuous provider presence improves safety, timeliness of care, and outcomes for individuals in crisis.
