About the JobPosition Overview A full-time Outpatient Nurse Practitioner (APRN) is needed for a permanent primary care role in Vermont. The position focuses on providing comprehensive primary care, health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness services to individuals and families within a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical group setup.
Schedule & Shift Details- Hours: 40 hours/week (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
- Weekends: None
- On-Call: 1:11 rotation
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality primary care in an outpatient clinical environment.
- Perform independent medical acts within APRN scope of practice.
- Provide patient and family education, supporting informed healthcare decisions.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and clerical personnel across various specialties.
- Support efficient, safe, and cost-effective daily clinical operations.
Qualifications & Requirements- Education: Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program [Required].
- Licensure: Active Vermont APRN license (or clear pathway to obtain) [Required].
- Certifications: National Certification as an Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP [Highly Preferred]; Healthcare Provider CPR [Required].
- Credentials: Active DEA license [Required].
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of NP experience [Required]. At least 2 years of nursing experience prior to earning advanced degree [Highly Preferred].
- Background: Clean malpractice history [Required]. Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report completed within the last 30 days [Required at submission].
- Restrictions:
- Must commute under 1 hour to the facility.
- No visa support available.
- No candidates planning to hold concurrent positions.
- Permanent candidates only (No Locum or Locum-to-Perm).
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually (based on experience, education, and market equity).
