The APP will work collaboratively with Urology physicians and fellow advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients across both the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.

The APP will evaluate and manage urology patients, develop and coordinate treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide ongoing follow-up care. The APP team shares responsibility for morning inpatient rounding, with inpatient shifts scheduled from either 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on coverage needs at Salem Hospital. APPs may transition to outpatient clinic responsibilities following morning rounds as appropriate. There is no surgical first-assisting responsibility associated with this position.

The schedule includes participation in a rotating weekend coverage schedule, approximately one weekend in every six. Weekend coverage extends from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM and includes approximately 12 hours of on-site coverage for the weekend. Physicians provide weekday overnight on call coverage.
