Job DescriptionAtlantic Health is Seeking a Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) in Summit, New JerseyAtlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Full-Time Neurocritical Care APP (NP or PA) for the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. The schedule includes both days and nights with 12-hour shifts, along with weekend and holiday rotation. This role offers autonomy, a growing service line, and flexibility with self-scheduling.
The neuroscience flagship at Overlook houses a large neuroscience unit and a 12-bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit that cares for patients recovering from stroke, brain surgery, seizures, nervous system infections, head trauma, and spinal surgery.
The APP will join a collaborative team of Neurointensivists and Neurocritical Care APPs. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, interpretation of diagnostic results, bedside procedures, daily progress notes, and patient/family education and meetings.

QualificationsQualifications- Master's degree
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1 year of critical care experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
