Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with center clinical staff to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Provide treatment for various illnesses and injuries; order necessary labs and diagnostic tests.
  • Demonstrate skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care tailored to age-specific needs.
  • Perform urgent care procedures, including wound repairs and abscess drainage, as well as EKG and X-Ray interpretations.

A typical day in the life of a Provider, includes:
  • Collaborating with the center clinical staff to ensure patient care.
  • Providing treatment of illnesses and injuries; order labs and other diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for children and adults.
  • Demonstrating the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients.
  • Performing common urgent care procedures such as wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG and X-Ray interpretation.
