Nurse Practitioner/Physician AssistantJob Summary:The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in the delivery of comprehensive health and health maintenance to patients in ambulatory settings. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides out-patient comprehensive primary care service including preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Qualifications:Education: - Applicants who graduated on or after October 1, 1998, must have completed requirements for a Master's degree or post-Master's degree certification
- Applicants who graduated prior to October 1, 1998, are exempt from above requirement
- Graduates from either a certificate or currently closed program should submit supporting documentation that demonstrates program compliance with Board guidelines.
Experience: - Three to five years of experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: - Current certificate issued by ANCC and/or or AANP or eligible
- Active Florida license required
- DEA license preferred
- BLS certification required
Other requirements: - Commitment and ability to keep up to date with scientific and technological developments/literature.
- Able to work flexible hours as assigned.
- Able to work at other CHC locations as assigned.
