Riley Children's Health Nephrology is ranked 9th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We provide Indiana's only comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for children with kidney disease or kidney failure.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, Days
  • No weekends, nights or call
• 95% outpatient; 5% inpatient
• Practice location: Riley Outpatient Center- Pediatric Dialysis Unit
• Patient population: pediatric and young adult ESRD patients who require chronic hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. Patient ages range from infancy up to 21 years
• Join a team of 10+ physicians and 5 APPs

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day management and care coordination for those patients receiving hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis
• Rounding in the hemodialysis unit, morning and afternoon shifts, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinic on at least two Tuesdays a month for patients receiving peritoneal dialysis
• Responsible for entering orders, responding to acute needs, and coordinating dialysis within the context of other subspecialty appointments for all dialysis patients

Qualifications:

• Master's degree required.
• ACNP, FNP, PNP or PA Board Certification required
• At least 1 year of Pediatric APP experience preferred
• Open to highly motivated new graduates with pediatric experience
• Seeking candidates who are strong communicators, critical thinkers and team players.
