Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join
UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care as a
Regional Float Provider supporting our urgent care centers throughout
West Virginia.
As a
Regional Float Provider, you will play an essential role in ensuring access to high-quality care across our West Virginia market. This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work alongside diverse care teams. Providers in this role support all UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care centers throughout West Virginia and are not assigned to a specific home or anchor center.

- Share your experience and training with other clinicians and staff.
- Regional Float Flexibility: Provide coverage across all UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care locations in West Virginia. Travel between centers is required to support staffing and patient care needs, including coverage for vacations, leaves of absence, vacancies, and fluctuations in patient volume.
- Scheduling flexibility to accommodate vacations and wellness days Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts and limited on-call availability are required.
Minimum Qualifications:- One (1) year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required, or 2 years of Family Medicine.
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
- Experience treating patients of all ages in an acute care setting required.
- Physician Assistants: Master's degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
- Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
