Responsibilities

  • Provide care for COPD patients both inpatient and outpatient

  • Participate in a new program aimed at improving COPD care
  • Document patient interactions and treatment in Epic EMR
  • Ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with organization standards

Pulmonology Advanced Practitioner Opportunity in Joplin, MO!

This group is powered by Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

This Opportunity Offers:
  • Shifts are Monday through Friday working 8am to 4:30pm
  • Full-time position with no call requirement currently
  • Would round in hospital with COPD patients; would also see COPD patients in clinic at times.
  • Primary collaborating physician for this role will be Dr. Nida Junaid, MD
  • New program focusing on improving COPD care to patients.
  • Tuition Reimbursement now offered - Must be a Mercy Coworker for at least 12 months prior to course start date. Great for current Mercy RN's or MA's thinking about transitioning to an APP role.
