Job DescriptionThe Division of Neonatal Medicine is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to work both independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to assess, diagnose, manage, and evaluate the health care needs of infants and neonates. Practitioners in this position will care for neonates affected by prematurity, respiratory distress, infectious diseases, congenital heart disease, and/or other anomalies.
Clinical responsibilities include day-to-day management of newborns and resuscitation management of high-risk newborns with rotations between the following sites:
• Level III/IV NICU at Saint Mary's Hospital
• Level III Nursery and Delivery Room at Rochester Methodist Hospital

QualificationsNurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN and NNP license and certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. Specialized training (Fellowship/Residency) in Neonatology or proven experience as a Neonatal physician assistant preferred.
DEA registration and ACLS/BLS certification required.
