Job Description

The Division of Endocrinology is looking for an outpatient NP or PA who would like to join a dynamic and growing endocrine practice. The team currently has eight advanced practice providers and eight physicians along with a team of nurses, diabetes educators, administrative support professionals, residents and fellows. This position is primarily focused on the outpatient practice at our Scottsdale location seeing approximately 9 patients in a typical clinical day. In addition, the outpatient team is cross-trained and will provide coverage for the inpatient endocrinology service several times each year at our Phoenix location.

This is a collegial and hard-working team that strives to place the needs of our patients at the forefront of all they do. Working together with our physicians, the advanced practitioners provide care to serious and complex patients.

Qualifications

New Grads with RN or clinical experience in Endocrinology will be considered.

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a ANP or ACNP.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:

Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
