Job Summary

Work with oncologist/hematologist to develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, order diagnostics including appropriate germline and somatic molecular studies, and provide psychosocial support throughout the cancer care continuum. Key responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment management, symptom management, coordinating infusion with the CMH infusion center, patient education and support, care coordination, and enhancing the quality of care delivered by Oncology/Hematology team at CMH. Communicate with members of the medical staff on issues concerning consultation, collaboration, and referrals. Maintains accurate and legible medical records completed within 72 hours of the patient being seen in the Specialty Clinic. This includes documenting all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, prognosis, referrals, education, and consultations that are consistent with state regulatory standards. This position will work five days a week.

Requirements: Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and hold current Minnesota RN and APRN or PA licensure or be eligible. Certified as a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, or physician assistant prior to the start date by a national certifying organization accepted by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. This position requires DEA registration. Oncology experience required.

Wage

Depending on your experience, you could earn a wage from $58.00 to $70.00 per hour.
