Full Job Description
As a Full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blaine, WA. This exciting role will support our Occupational Health line of service. Anticipated work schedule will be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm and rotating Fridays, 8:00am-12:00pm. No nights, weekends or holidays! Our setting allows for more time providing quality care to patients. Join us and experience the difference! What You'll Do • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed • Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records • Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices • Performs other duties as assigned What You'll Bring • Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice • Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice • Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable) • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable) • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration) • Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required) • Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required) • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed. Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $128,000 - $160,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0769 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year.
