MVHC is growing and has an immediate opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care Team!

Aspects of this Position:- 100% outpatient only
- Opportunity to work with a well-established team consisting of physicians, mid-level providers, licensed social workers, RNs and LPNs
- Close proximity to community hospital for easy access to additional services
- Epic EMR
- No Call
Minimum Qualifications:- Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
- NP Certification or Ohio Physician Assistant License
- One to two years of clinical experience preferred
- CPR Certification
- Supervisory experience a plus
- DOT Certification is preferred
Working Conditions:- Lifting up to 30 lbs 4-5 times per day
- Carrying up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Standing 1-2 hours at a time
- Walking approx. 30 minutes per hour throughout the day
- Withstands pressure and deals with emergency situations as needed
- Normal coordination and/or visual attention to connection with the standard flow of work
- Good working conditions in an office environment
- Average working hours with possible non-traditional hours
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development
- Reviews and complies with MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Demonstrates actions and behaviors that consistently contribute to the safety of all (i.e., incident reporting, hazards, and infection control management, etc.)
- Positively and appropriately accepts direction and contrastive input from Leadership
- Completes appropriate documentation within the specified timeframe
- Follows proper technique in assisting and preforming procedures
- Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence
- Displays ability and uses critical thinking skills to set priorities for patient care, self, and others
- Conducts and/or coordinates daily rounds with physicians
- Submits incident reports, evaluations, anecdotal notes, informal and formal counseling's by deadlines and/or in a timely manner
- Adheres to all MVHC's policies and procedures fully cooperating with the MVHC Compliance Program
