Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience in Palliative Care preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Palliative Care preferred.
  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to palliative patients and their families.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care in the outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about palliative care options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives surrounding patient care.

Description:
Could you be our next Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Bryn Mawr Hospital?

Position: Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Care (Bryn Mawr Hospital)
Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation. Hours: 8am-6pm EST. No holidays required.

Experience:
2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred in Palliative Care.
Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Palliative Care preferred.

Education:
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications:
Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Require ACLS certification.
May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
