Full Job Description
IU Health Medical Group-Metro Region is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused APP Clinical Director to join our Neonatology team at Riley Hospital for Children!

Position Details:
  • Full-time
  • Rotating Schedule
  • Primarily days for the administrative piece of the position
  • Nights, weekends, days, as needed clinically
  • 100% inpatient
  • Procedures performed: Endotracheal intubation, umbilical vessel catheterization, lumbar puncture, peripherally inserted central venous catheter, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, paracentesis, pericardiocentesis, infant exchange transfusion, intraosseous cannulation
  • Team includes 10+ physicians and 60+ APPs
Key Responsibilities:

The Neonatal APP Clinical Director will be 50% clinical and 50% administrative with overall responsibility and accountability for:
  • Administrative support and oversight
  • Clinical education and training
  • Clinical and professional practice and performance
  • Interprofessional collaborative practice and teamwork
  • Professional and leadership development
  • Scheduling and staffing
  • Engagement levels; and recruitment and retention for all clinical sites including IU Health Riley Simon Family Tower and Maternity Tower NICUs, IU Health North NICU, IU Health West NICU, Community North Hospital NICU, and Saint Francis Hospital NICU.
