Job Requirements

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to an adult population during the night shift. In this role, you'll practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Manage acute and ongoing medical conditions through evidence-based clinical decision-making
  • Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate seamless patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive health strategies
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
  • Champion patient safety, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource and advocate for patients throughout their hospital stay

What We're Looking For
Education & Licensure
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse license
  • BLS and ACLS certification prior to providing direct patient care
  • Current DEA and CDS registration

Experience
  • Previous Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
