REQUIREMENTS for Nurse Practitioner:- CA Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in elderly care, 1 year experience as a nurse practitioner in a geriatric setting/ working with the frail or elderly is required.
- Current active DEA license
Essential Functions:- Conducts physical exams, diagnostic tests, blood draws, EKGs, dressing changes, and other nursing interventions.
- Assesses patients' conditions, formulates treatment plans including prescriptions, and provides ongoing follow-up.
- Educates staff, participants, and caregivers on healthcare issues and treatments.
- Manages acute and long-term medical needs in collaboration with other providers, covering care in various settings including nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
- Provides emotional and spiritual support, manages medical emergencies, and ensures timely, compliant documentation in medical records.
