Responsibilities

Full-time | Clinic + Hospital | Monday-Friday | ~1 weekend/month call | New grads welcome | Ocala, FL

The Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVI) is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Ocala, FL. You'll work across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings, caring for a broad range of cardiovascular patients alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs. New NP and PA graduates are strongly encouraged - this role is built to develop you, not just deploy you. CVI is a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

Qualifications - what we need
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or actively in the process of obtaining
• Cardiology experience preferred - genuinely not required
• New NP and PA graduates with strong interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
• Strong communicator, team-oriented, patient-focused

Responsibilities - what you'll do
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings
• Perform hospital rounding, consults, follow-up visits, and new patient evaluations
• Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively with supervising cardiologists
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
