Nurse Practitioner - PET IMAGING

Description:

Education Requirements: Graduate of appropriate baccalaureate and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Certified Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Georgia and current national certification.

Experience: At least one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferably in area of practice specialty.

Required Skills: Must possess excellent clinical skills as a Nurse Practitioner.

Ability to provide individualized care, focusing not only on health problems, but also on the effect health problems have on people and their families.

Ability to explain the details of health problems, medications, and other topics to help people fully understand how to take care of themselves.

Provide quality of care that results in a high level of patient satisfaction.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health. Must be able to lift, bend, pull, and push, using good body mechanics, without limitations. Must possess visual acuity with corrective lenses to read printed material and visualize patients to the degree that changes in color or respirations can be detected; hearing ability to ask and answer pertinent questions and relay information. Ability to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situations. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

Nurse Practitioner - AMG Neurosurgery Diagnosis and treatment of specialty specific patients for age groups adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Assessment and management of pain. Maintains complete, accurate and legible documentation. Assumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education to maintain a high degree of proficiency.
