Description The Nurse Manager is the onsite manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the offsite. The Nurse Manager reports to the Facility Physicians.
Responsibilities: - Provide clinical oversight and guidance for nursing staff, medical assistants, etc.
- Ensure facility compliance with current healthcare regulations
- Ensure patient satisfaction
- Establish office policies and procedures
- Schedule staff to meet operational requirements
- Supervise patient scheduling and registration
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance
- Hire and train clinical staff
- Ensure patient records are current and complete
- Oversee payroll
- Supervise & support the nursing staff (LPNs & MAs)
- Set weekly schedule
- Receive/approve PTO request
- Oversee patient care
- Coordinate monthly staff meetings
- Screen and Interview candidates for vacant clinical positions
- Provide direct clinical coverage and patient care support as needed to maintain operations.
- Assist with nursing and Medical Assistant coverage during staffing shortages, vacancies, and increased patient volumes.
- Conduct staff onboarding, competency validation, education, and ongoing training.
- Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and operational updates for physicians and leadership.
- Support implementation of new workflows, programs, and organizational initiatives.
- Travel between practice locations to provide operational oversight, staff support, training, and leadership coverage.
Qualifications: - Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records

Travel RequirementThis position requires regular travel between assigned practice locations and the ability to provide direct clinical support, training, operational leadership, and cross-site coverage as needed.
Physical Demands:May spend a great deal of their professional day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects, equipment and supplies. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients or objects may involve lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as assisting with weights of more than one hundred (100) pounds. Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend or twist their body, as well as visual acuity.
